 Successful completion of the training program and testing will certify you as a Firefighter Level I and II in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Students are required to have a complete set of Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) furnished by their station during practical exercises of the class.  Additional training in Hazardous Materials, Firefighter Survival and Rescue, and Vehicle Extrication will be completed in the academy.
