Successful completion of the training program and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) computer-adaptive examination will certify you as an Emergency Medical Technician in the Commonwealth of Virginia and with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).  This program is accredited through the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services (VOEMS) and requires completion of various competencies and skills in order to show proficiency as an EMT.
