Virtual B&E Summit Through 12/31

  • Date: -
  • Location: VIRTUAL

The Workforce Initiative's 2020 Business & Education Summit is being held virtually!

This year, the Summit involves laying the groundwork for the development of 'Workforce Models' for the local information technology, construction, and manufacturing sectors. The Workforce Initiative and its partners will build education/training pathways from post-secondary and K12 schools, allowing entry into these industries.

WI is asking local businesses in Winchester, Frederick County, Clarke County, Shenandoah County, and Warren County, Virginia to help by completing the following before December 31, 2020:

  1. WATCH the B&E Summit video
  2. REVIEW (Excel Download) the course offerings provided
  3. TAKE the survey for your industry: Construction | Information Technology | Manufacturing.

Once WI gathers feedback, they will plan for more in depth conversations by sector during the first quarter of 2021.
