Public Input Meeting
Tuesday, January 28
Stonewall Elementary School
6:30 - 7:30 pm

Frederick County Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on a conceptual development plan for 25 acres of parkland located near the Snowden Bridge development in the Stonewall District.  This land is proffered to be used for active outdoor recreation purposes, which generally means athletic fields.  The draft design calls for four rectangular multi-purpose athletic fields, with three being suitable for soccer competition fields.  The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking public input on the design and welcomes any comments to assist in making this the best facility possible.  Comments can be provided by visiting the link below, or in person at a public input meeting to be held at Stonewall Elementary School on Tuesday January 28 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Please direct any questions to:  Jon Turkel, Assistant Director.  jturkel@fcva.us
