This instructor course is for providers to teach American Heart Association Basic Life Support programs (Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver). All candidates must complete the requirements listed below, and provide tuition fees ($400
REQUIREMENTS:
- Register at the following website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/aha-basic-instructor-course-tickets-87453201881
- Completed the Instructor Candidate Application. (Email application to address below, or drop off at the Fire and Rescue Office during normal business hours).
- Be accepted by an AHA Training Center (TC) before enrolling in an Instructor Essentials Course (which is included with tuition).
- Have a current AHA BLS Provider card and be proficient in all of the skills associated with the course.
- Successfully complete the Instructor Essentials Course, both online and practical skills.
- Be monitored as an instructor within six (6) months of the completion of the Instructor course.
