Board of Supervisors Meeting & Budget Public Hearing

Due to time frame requirements mandated by the Code of Virginia for public hearing and adoption of local budgets, Frederick County is at this time still planning on conducting the Board of Supervisors budget public hearing on Wednesday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m.
The Board understands, of course, that under the current circumstances, many people may not want to attend a public meeting. Therefore, citizens wishing to comment at the meeting are encouraged to submit comments in writing in advance of the meeting, in lieu of attending the meeting. All comments received will be forwarded to all Board members. Also, the Board and Staff anticipate taking measures at the meeting, to the extent possible, to limit the number of people present in the room to conform to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (50 people as of 3/16/2020). As we continue to monitor the situation, we will update arrangements further as appropriate and note changes on the County website.
